At Acupuncture Essentials, inc., we offer Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique (NAET®). NAET® is a manual therapy that can eliminate allergies and allergy related conditions. An allergy is caused by a sensitivity to one or more substances that do not usually cause adverse reactions in the majority of individuals. These reactions are due to an improper immune system response.

According to Chinese Medical Theory, this sensitivity causes an imbalance within the body resulting in energy blockages. This leads to a variety of symptoms like itching, swelling, nasal discharge, shortness of breath, asthma attacks, fatigue, eczema, and anaphylactic shock. By correcting this imbalance, the body will no longer react negatively to the allergen.

Unlike avoidance diets, where a person has to avoid the substance for ever, there is only a short period in which the patient may not come in contact with the allergen. After this time, the patient may re-introduce the substance into their life. It is vital that the patient diligently avoids the item, as contact with the treated allergen during this period will cause the treatment to fail.
